This artwork showcases the incredible skills of Max Whelan Wallace. Max is currently following the Art GCSE course and is a very accomplished artist. He is always keen to challenge himself and recently has been exploring more unusual art materials such oil paints – something that we rarely use in school because of the long drying time.
We are so impressed with the varied subject matter that Max has been working on – his portraits are incredibly life like and we especially appreciate his range of still life compositions where Max has been able to accurately capture the highlight and shade and detail on the fruit.
We really look forward to seeing how Max’s artwork continues to develop but in the meantime, go and take a closer look at his work which is on display in the art centre foyer.
