THIS half term has been very busy for the prefect team and the whole school. We had the responsibility of welcoming Ofsted into our school and touring them around. We also spoke to them about our views on our school In addition to this, prefects have taken a role in leading the school parliament and have been busy with fundraising ideas for our end of year prom. Lots of students have actively represented the school in sports, music, dance and drama. Year 11 students are very much focussed on final GCSEs and are well into their final preparations.
I have thoroughly enjoyed being your head boy and getting to know so many more students and teachers. I have been proud to represent the school in a variety of ways. I only have a few weeks left at school next half term and will then be handing over to a brand-new head boy to continue to lead the student voice. Until then, let me know of any issues you have or just come and say hello!

THIS half term has flown by. The senior prefect team met with the SLT to feedback the views of the students. We discussed the issues of toilets and the variety of food available at the food outlets. Talking to Ofsted was also a big responsibility and we were able to share our views with them. We have also had the prom dress hire scheme, which Mrs Owen put a lot of work into organising. We are well under way with the prom planning now and are very much looking forward to it. Next term will be my final few weeks as head girl and I will continue to work hard to represent the views of the students in school. Have a restful Easter break.
