Charity Club

WE have set up a charity club which meets on week A Mondays for those who like to help their community.  We come together to think of ideas to raise money for different charities, one of which is St Richards Hospice; a care people look after the old and the ill, to make sure everyone succeeds home where at living life to the fullest. Not only do they look after the patients, but their families as well. Founded in 1984, the care home is located opposite County Hall and the Worcester Woodlands. Originally, St Richard’s Hospice was set up in Droitwich, taking its name from Richard de la Wyche who was born in 1197 and who was declared a Saint in 1262. To raise money during the Christmas season, the school organised a Christmas jumper day which took place on Friday 17th December. If you decided to wear a jumper then you would have been required to bring in £1. Furthermore, students Charlie (Year 7) and Libby (Year 9) helped collect 2160 Christmas trees to raise money.
