INTERNATIONAL Women’s Day was on March 8th and is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of women. The theme of it this year was #BreakTheBias. We were all encouraged to imagine a world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination.
A world that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated. Together we can forge women’s equality. Collectively we can all #BreakTheBias. School holds a key role in promoting these values. We believe that no girls future should be limited by her gender and bias or stereotypes. Students had the opportunity to access resources and have discussions on these topics as well as the SMSC curriculum tackling issues of inequality, bias and discrimination.
