The Circle

THE Circle is another way in which we offer additional support to students in school to ensure that all students meet their full potential and enjoy their school days. This was a new initiative that began in September and has been extremely successful. It gives students the opportunity to build friendships as well as their skills and confidence. They have taken part in a wide range of activities including going indoor climbing at Redpoint Climbing Centre, a retro games evening as well as movie nights and more recently an Easter celebration. One student who uses The Circle said, “I love these events as they are really fun, and you get to chat to different people you wouldn’t normally chat to.” Mr Roleston, Ms Moody, Ms Ball and Mr Bonniface are on hand before and after school as well as at lunchtimes to offer mentoring and help to students and make sure that they are all organised and prepared for their day.
